WOW, Ken. My orchids just arrived a few minutes ago - took me about 15 minutes to unwrap the beauties. They are 3 ft tall and gorgeous. I love all the big pups - I guess now siblings. Both of them are statement plants and I encourage any of you thinking about getting one or both to stop thinking and say, "Send my some!" These are amazing to come out of a box.

Thanks for the kind words, Barb. I am glad you are pleased with your orchids. These two varieties truly are magnificent plants with beautiful and long-lasting flowers (particularly the Grcym.).

I have always wanted one of these 'Black Magic' orchids! I so wish I could have purchased one! Anyone that's on the fence, just know that Ken takes excellent care of and pride in his plants. I can all but guarantee that they will be in excellent condition

They did make the trip well, Barb. They'll love being outside, under trees.

I am in the process of boxing up the largest order, both in number and size of boxes (2), ever. I just packed up the first box, a 36"x20"x9" one, of 8 orchids, weighing 18 lb. I still have another 10 orchids to box, and the box will be the same size and about the same weight. This first box contained two of the Cym. and two of the Grcym. and those four orchids took up the majority of the space.

I still have a handful, Lisa. A couple are nearing the end of their blooming cycle after two months, but the majority are still flowering beautifully and even have some buds to open. I have been holding back two plants that I never listed. These two have grown a second inflo stem and are going to continue their flowering well into summer. These are somewhat "premium" plants but those with a single stem are still priced at the $30 wholesale price. I have also reduced (for the final time) the price of the 'Black Magic' to what I have in these plants, $36. I need the space.

What colors do you have? Not too keen on "Black Magic."

The only other orchid variety in bloom at the moment, at least available ones, is the Dendrobium Frieda Batanata. If you don't like purple, you won't like this one. The lip is really purple and the petals have purple veining. This is a compact growing Den., around 16" tall. This plant has a combination of both flowers and buds.

Wish I would have seen this earlier. That black orchid would have been perfect for my daughter who is an avid orchid collector.

Three weeks ago, I had blooming orchids that stretched for 20+ feet in the solarium. Now they all fit on my 5', 3-tier, plant stand. These are all that are left of the original 75 blooming plants.
