Lily Beetles

I have tried everything organically (or so I thought) to get rid of the dreaded Red Lily Beetle. I have used chemicals in the past that have worked fine but left me with a guilty conscience. What am I harming?

Thread OP

I found my first Red Lily Beetle in my garden April 9th. I have no lilies coming up and I'm not sure where most of them are coming up. We just got a few inches of snow here in Merrill wisc. I have about a half acre of garden with Lillies scattered all around. Orientals and Ot's and Martagons. Last year was my first yr with these red beetles I sprayed tops and bottoms of all leaves and would go back in ten days and repeat. Then spray the soil with neom oil. I have three garden friends in a club who have the same problem. Are there any other ideas out there how to wipe these critters out? Thanks a bunch for any help. Thank You! a

Read somewhere that putting coffee grounds around the Lily may help! Not good
