I am rather focusing on native plants these days, and can't easily locate the current conservation status. I use the USDA database for much of my research, which shows the distribution, but I thought I ran into a web site at one point that easily has the conservation status prominently on the home page. ??

I found these pages when googling that lists U.S. threatened and endangered plants:

Thanks, Lin. At some point, I ran into a site that listed the status, whether threatened or not, using pretty much the same criteria as our database: LC least concern, NT near threatened, etc. I suppose if I don't find a native plant on either of the above sites, I can assume it is LC? I'd rather 'see' that in some reliable list, though, rather than presuming. Wish I could remember where I saw it to begin with. I've looked at my usual native plant sites I typically use, nada.

Thanks Rob - that site works quite easily. I tested it by entering a couple native plants I know are not endangered and they show up as LC (least concern). I've added it to my personal menu.
