Still no buds are being set on mine yet, but I did notice the end leaves are starting to get a red tint to them, perhaps it's a sign of buds to come? It has been so nice hear this year, very late into the winter. Still in 70's and 80's. I'm guessing that is why. Even my citrus, which is usually ripe by now, is just changing to yellowish orange. Ripe oranges soon I hope, at the latest by Christmas. Nothing better than juicy naval oranges for the holidays!

I agree

I have a Schlumbergera too that has not yet set buds. It's bloomed reliably every year though so I think it's just slow.

It must be are warmer climate Hetty. I did notice yesterday, very small, tight buds on my hybrid Cactus, so should have beautiful red blooms there soon. However no buds on my 100+ year old cactus, but I did notice the leaf tips turning red, a sign of buds to show up soon I believe? Very cold here. Got down to 25F last night. It is suppose to start warming up again though...whew!
