For a short time we lived in the neighborhood on the corner of Jones Maltsberger and Thousand Oaks. I was talking to a fellow downtown and told him where we lived, and he exclaimed that it was out in the boondocks!! To me it felt like we were right in the middle of town, but to him the city stops at 410. Hilarious!

That's too funny!

and we were almost neighbors, then --once upon a time I lived near Thousand Oaks/Wetmore (closer to the city than you were, but probably still in the boonies to the downtown guy.

I'm going to retire and live off of my savings. Not sure what I'll do that second week.

I know where that is. The company that printed up our DG tee shirts back in 2005 was in that industrial park near the corner of Wetmore and Thousand Oaks. Smiling
