No they don't increase your chances. I wanted everyone to have an equal chance to win, but please add as many comments as you can they are a valuable asset to the database for beginning gardeners and someone who has not grown that plant before.

I agree The more comments, the better ... helps us all learn about the plants. Even if we happen to grow the plant, it's interesting to see how someone else in another part of the country/world grows it in their climate/conditons.

I have a question. I am adding some photos to the plant database, but what if I don't know exactly which variety of a particular plant? Here's an example, I know this is lobelia, but that is all I know. Where should I put it? Will someone far smarter than me help get it to the right place?

Brenda, post it on the ID forum. They will help you ID the variety. First you will need a close up of the flowers & foliage though.

Easy peasy, the database is right at the top of this and every page ... just click on Plants!

Excuse me I got sidetracked. Rolling on the floor laughing I would like to enter the contest but I already have acorns and do not know what to do with them.

If you don't want the acorns you can send them to me. Rolling on the floor laughing

Or spend them on getting yourself a free ATP shirt and mug.

Seriously, hold on to them. They are valuable and you never know when a new package deal comes up that you can spend them on.
