hmmm for the polymer clay do u know how much it is and how big a pot can be constructed.
on another note I was watching beechgrove gardens and they had a episode which there was alpine specialist who constructed artificial stone turfs out of sand manure and cement. has any else seen that done?

Polymer clay ranges in price from a couple dollars for a brick to about $8 a brick.

You could theoretically make a really big structure with it, but if you were going to do that I would definitely use chicken wire or aluminum foil to form the center of it because if the entire thing or made out of clay you would have difficulty baking it thoroughly and it would also weigh a lot.
