Good idea Sue. Zuzu, I think I have the best luck with bulbs from Michigan Bulb (don't blame WI) and I hate to say it but (at least) for Daffs, the old standby (on sale), Breck's.

I so far never ordered from Holland Bulb Farm, but several times from BBB. I was never disappointed and their customer service is excellent. Just to voice my opinion

But customer service isn't the issue. I'm annoyed at being forced to pay $41.26 for shipping, ostensibly because 3-day shipping is the only option for the West Coast after Thanksgiving, and then having the package arrive in 6 days, which is exactly how long the package from Holland Bulb Farms took to get here, for only $8.50.

I would not have agreed to it. I'm a master at managing free shipping (there are so many options out there), just because I always figure every order total per bulb or plant.

yes you are right shipping is horrid!
another place I love to shop from is Plant Delights Nursery in NC, but same thing, the shipping is unbelievable! I might as well drive up there and pick it up myself

Zuzu, which company's bulbs did you like best when they bloomed?

They aren't blooming yet, but they're about equal in quality so far. I'll see if either of the two companies mislabeled anything later.

So far, I'd give the edge to B&B. They provided labels and Holland Farms just labeled the bulb bags with the name. I don't enjoy the extra step of creating my own labels, so I usually just plant everything and then match the blooms to my list of purchases.

I will be anxious to hear.
