Great article or. I went on a tour of Walt Bubelis gardens. He had an heirloom apple tree which the appled did not turn brown when sliced. I wish I could recall the variety or find my notes...

Does anyone have a good reference for identifying which heirloom apples I have in my backyard? I know they were planted prior to 1947, possibly the late 1800's.
