One tip I would like to pass along about clematis I learned the hard way.
Clematis do not like to be moved once you plant them and they start to grow. I had first planted this clematis in a different spot and after about 11/2 years decided O wanted it in a different location, where it is now. Big mistake. It took that clematis 3 years to forgive me. I'm not kidding. Thought the poor thing was gonna croak. Had to really baby it to pull it through. Most of you probably already know this but just wanted to throw that out there for the first timers Whistling
