I went and looked. WOW. And it's evergreen!!!

Is it difficult to keep it confined to the area you want it to grow?

No it doesn't spread underground like Trumpet vine, just a runner here and there that I put back on the fence, and I trim it once a year.
Another good thing is no insects or disease, and of course being evergreen is a real bonus. Smiling

Josephine, with the plants you started from seed, did you sow them in pots? Just wondering, since so many naitves grow on their own terms and many do better planted in the fall. But if grown in situ, it's not always possible to get them to grow where you want them to! Well, that's my experience anyway!

Your gardens are all so beautiful and look well thought out! I'm really in awe of them! Lovey dubby

Thank you Christine, I wish we could get together some time to talk garden.
I normally winter sow and start seeds in pots if I want to be sure that I have some control.
Of course we really have no control at all, but at least we can try to help them.
The only seeds i scatter are the ones that are basically fool proof, or if I have a lot of them.
I usually prefer to propagate most plants by cuttings, but sometimes that can't be done. Smiling
