I know for a fact that my dad has already gotten me more granite (aka chicken grit). Looking forward to that.
Hoping for a new watering can with that big rain shower spout.
Gloves. Gloves are always welcome.
Can't go wrong with gift certificates to someone's favorite nursery if you are buying for someone else. That would buy you months of dreaming and scheming. Always a good way to survive winter!
Oh, yes, a Haws watering can is a great gift. There's a size, shape, color, and price range for everyone. http://www.hawswateringcans.co...
I've been lusting for one of the professional metal ones for a long time.
One of the best garden gifts Santa ever brought me was my garden sink with self winding hose reel.
I want a 100% guaranteed ,total vole removal system.
Maybe a dozen snake pets that patrole the whole garden and suck the little devils out of their holes.
Tools are great gifts. I bought my own one year. Merrycrismis to me.
I like Lee Valley.I bought a "grampaa weeder" and a good fork and a trench spade.
The spade was not practical for me. It was too long and I would loose my balance when I lifted my foot to jam it into the ground. I gave it to my daughter.
A gift certificate to a good garden supplies store is a great idea.
Would it be too much to ask for a new picket fence to surround our garden? Our current wooden picket fence is 17 years old. I"d love to replace it with a nice vinyl picket fence (no maintenance, unlike our wooden one that we stain white every 2-3 years). I've really tried to be good this year, Santa
No more white flies the world over.
All mosquitoes DEAD & no new ones hatch.
Voles, moles, gophers & ground hogs POOF! Disappeared into Never, Never World forever.
And finally, the get-go, strength & endurance I had when I was 30.
I am a strong believer in the simple fact is that what matters in this life is how we treat others. I think that's what living is all about. Not what I've done in my life but how I've treated others. ~~ Sharon Brown
Well ditto on the strength and endurance!
On the critters, I'd wish them a diet change to weedy/invasive species only!!!!
And I'd like to add NO MORE powdery mildew!
Okay, we'll change it to weedy/invasive species & add powdery mildew to the death list.
