I love picking apples, so I'd help, too. Then we could make jelly and apple pies

We did get about a half inch of rain overnight last night. Nice that I did not have to worry about watering. I cut back some Iris and Daylily that I want to move. So much fall work to do. We are going to have upper 80's-low 90's tomorrow and over the weekend. Then next week it is suppose to cool down to the mid to upper 60's. Should be able to get lots done next week.

I'm sure Char would provide ice cream for our warm apple pie
Oh yes, rained on my daylilies today to keep on topic

I lugged water this evening to water some iris and lupines I planted a few weeks ago. It has been so hot and dry over the past few weeks. Another day of sun, and temps near 80 f.

So sorry to hear this. My thoughts are with you and your friend.

High 80s with high humidity today.

It got up to 75F yesterday. It was 53F around 6AM, which I think is the coldest it has been so far. They are calling for a high of 79F.

Warm and sunny again today, high in the upper 70's. The overnight low was 48, much lower than the expected mid 50's.... cooled the house off a wee bit We're suppose to be in the mid to upper 80's the next 3 days, unreal for this time of the year.

We could have one heck of a party picking apples, making jelly and pies. Nothing better than warm apple pie with B&J's on top.
(Must be I've mentioned ice cream a few times )
