I currently have 4 seedlings that I started in April of 2016. They spent the summer outside last year and in my holding beds over the winter. They have had no special treatment. Parentage is unknown, but one parent is either Final Touch or Lady Elizabeth.

This evening, I discovered a scape!!!!!!! I am shocked, totally didn't expect to this of a 1 year old.

Heidi, it's amazing!!!

This year for my seedling I did as you did. Instead of sprouting seeds in september and try to growing them inside under lights I sprouted some in february-march, then the little seedlings went in the garden with mild temps and a net to cover and protect them. They are growing better and faster. They will spend the winter already outside, it gives me hope for next season!
