I'm trying to increase hummingbirds, bumble bees and butterflies in my moms backyard, and was told this was a way of getting free seeds to help with that.
I'm not here nearly enough, but I've been taking care of my mom, as usual, and she had a stroke that she is dealing with weaknesses, memory...and a stubborn streak to boot!
I live in Atlanta (Specifically the Stone Mountain, Ga. area), in a borderline Zone 7/8 for both cold and heat on the USDA scale. (Due to the elevation it is a lot cooler than the deep south. Freezing temps go from October to April in the suburbs and 90 degree weather is very short, from late May to Early September).
I would rather grow plants for food...but since she is just now starting to take short, very short, to the mailbox walks with me, I'm doing everything I physically can.
I'm not really sure how this works exactly...but if you have seeds to spare for flowering plants, anti-mosquito plants and or seeds for none GMO vegetable/fruit garden (small), please contact me. I'll take all the help anyone is willing to do for my mom and me.
Thanks for taking the time to read this. Now, I need to go check on her.
