Ann: I don't know if that is the one you have or not, it was just a wild guess on my part ... I really don't know Arborvitae at all! Before celebrating, maybe we should wait for confirmation from someone more knowledgeable. Smiling

Well, if anyone else says it's not that then they can speak up. But I'm sure that's what it is. I have known it before in my life but it seems I'm having a "senior week". The moment I clicked your first link I knew that's what it is. Cypress family, Oriental thuja --- that's how I've known it --- never knew the latin name until now.
