Well, if anyone else says it's not that then they can speak up. But I'm sure that's what it is. I have known it before in my life but it seems I'm having a "senior week". The moment I clicked your first link I knew that's what it is. Cypress family, Oriental thuja --- that's how I've known it --- never knew the latin name until now.
