I got that bird image in my mind early on and it was all I could do to keep from putting big yellow legs on it. But Polly wanted Altay, she'd mentioned it a long time ago. So that's what she got.
Still, I can't get the bird image out of my mind.

If Ethan had been here, he'd have seen the big purple bird just like I did.
He's my 7 year old grandson.
We think alike.

Hummmm.... I think everyone has strange places in their minds. It just depends on who is looking at the strangeness. If it's an open minded person who is not judgmental then then at least they don't call you weird or demented. It's only the uptight, quote unquote "normal", mainstream, seemingly "well adjusted" people who judge harshly & lordy! do they ever have some strange things in their minds.

I tried to add as much blue as I could, I know how you love blue. But that iris was so un-blue, it screamed magenta!
So you got a big purple bird.

Very strange for December.
Pretty today, though.
