Host plant for the American Lady. Today I went out and gathered some seeds. Didn't think I was going to get around to gathering any this year, with all the drizzle and cold, but I finally did it.
I would feel more optimistic about a bright future for man if he spent less time proving that he can outwit Nature and more time tasting her sweetness and respecting her seniority. E. B.White

I suspect it's a bit marginal in southcentral Texas, but for some reason it grows in my neighborhood. Don't know how many years it took me to ID it, but finally found the correct ID. Love the Ladies!
