When I look at half the pictures uploaded under this plant name I'm seeing multiple species. Compare the pictures to all the online plant brokers Pictures.

I just purchased This species....
The first four pictures listed under this species is accurate but...

Maybe the moderators only moderate some of the members here? I know the moderators are specialists in the species so it's not the mods putting these interesting pictures in. 😂

It's not a species, it's a hybrid and Cherokee Sunset is shown on the originator's website as a trade name not a cultivar name, i.e.
Rudbeckia x hirta hybrida 'Cherokee Sunset'®

The picture I posted of "Cherokee Sunset" was one of the ones I thought was especially pretty from the plants I got from the packet of seeds I bought. None of them were the very same. I got the same results in variation when I planted a packet of "Denver Daisy" Rudbeckia seeds. I think when you start things from seed and not from cuttings you are far more likely to get variation in the plants.
