I received "BIG CITY EYE" as a bonus and can't decide whether to keep it or not. I've looked on the database but wondered if anyone had grown it/does grow it and whether you like it or not.

Any info/opinions welcome! Thank You!

Scatterbrain, imo any daylily is worth keeping for a few years. By that time, chances are, I've found someone who loves it. I have three gift plants that I am not terribly fond of- but my kids and other family members love them, so they stay (for now- til they have their own gardens or until someone makes me an offer I can't refuse...).

Another option- sell it! It sounds like daylilies are harder to come by over there. Chances are someone else will love it, buy it, and thereby help support your daylily habit Green Grin!

@Diana,

My main issue is lack of space! Plus at the moment due to the import ban European gardens are having trouble getting hold of new daylilies and I really don't know what the situation will be regarding buying from Europe after brexit, I was thinking if I want anything a bit newer I need to take a risk on ones I would usually wait a few years before getting.

I was thinking of trying to get Printmaker (Lambertson) in Spring and I also want a DeVito variety (haven't decided which but maybe BEHOLD THE BELIEVABLE so I really need the space!
