I know near to nothing about Gingers, hopefully someone can help me ID these

This one I found growing along an earth path that leads to the river, I'm not sure if it is a wild species as it grew out of the fence of a garden of one of the local people..

I think you're right Janet! It is Costus spiralis fully open!

This turned out to be Alpinia purpurata.
