The longhair Mackerel Tabby is called Madamoiselle Fluffy. Her son, a classic British Tabby called Riddick.
My albino african clawed frog is called Moinseur Pancho.
My beloved bearded dragon was called Bungle. He lived with several arid-thriving plants in his tank!]

[...Hello, just a quick update on my Semp babies! It's been raining really bad here and I collected the rainwater in a jug! I been using a pipette to give the seedlings each a little rainwater for the past 2 days and the growth spurt has been dramatic! I suggest everybody do this!]

Mine are out in the great outdoors, so when it rains they get a drink. : )
They really do take a spurt of growth after being rained on.

[...I never even thought to do this before! I haven't got the luxury of a garden, only a small roof on which I can place my planted containers! I have my head in the clouds sometimes! From now on, rainwater it is! I'll collect it, freeze it, and use it when needed! It rains a LOT in the u.k. so I have no reason not to!]

[...I know, thank you, I'm quite chuffed with myself as it's my first ever Semp seed attempt! I'm pretty sure it's because they're in a big glass cookie jar, which keeps the humidity quite high. Also, as I said a few posts before, I've been giving them rainwater with a pipette for the past couple days! That's really boosted them!]

I'm not allowed to climb the stepstool yet to check on them. Robs is keeping them watered for me with the mister. I am sure they will look bigger to me when I am up and about again.

Your experiments with growing from seed have inspired us. We have just received our first order of hybrid mix seeds from a fellow in England and proceeded to sow them. We used a flat filled partway with vermiculite and topped off with a fast draining seeding mix. It's quite chilly here in the evenings (low 50s) so we'll be keeping these in a sunny window until things warm up...or until next spring...whichever comes first.

Looking forward to meeting the mystery Semps that might come from this project!
