Where do you like to order your seeds for the plants that attract?

Southern Exposure has an interesting mix called Wild Garden Perennial Insectary Mix.

I have the Territorial catalog but have not ordered from them before. I have gotten so many seeds and plants in swaps and exchanges, I haven't ordered many seeds. I am going to order a few this year though. So much cheaper and easier than plants sometimes.

I recently received a seed order from Prairie Moon Nursery (my first time with this company) and was delighted with the products sent. They offer a good ratio of seed to cost if germination rates prove to be good.... and they supply a very detailed germination/growing guide for each plant. Most of what I ordered were native-type plants which I haven't grown before, so information is crucial for success.

Good to know this. They are advertising at the bottom of my page here and I see them everywhere.

The ad showing here is how I found them first. Now, I've been back to their site many times ...it's one of my favorites for browsing through wildflowers. Whenever time and the weather allows I'm out in the meadow adding scatterings of their wildflower seeds....many of which need a cold period and the fluctuations in winter-to-spring conditions to help them germinate. I'd still like to do some of them in winter sowing containers too...just in case, but so far I haven't geared myself up to begin. I'm firmly ensconced in hibernation mode for the time being.

Ditto ... I've got that hibernation thing going on at the moment too.

What did you get Chelle? I was happy with my order also and I enjoy browsing, I was able to get good seed counts, also Everwilde Farms you have more sizes to choose from. I bought 1/4 ounce of Paradoxa coneflower for around 5.00 and there are at least 1000 seeds in this bag, also got purple bergamot so I can sow a few and have some to share. (seed swap anyone?)

Well... I went a little crazy...but they just had so many neat seeds for the wildflower meadow! ....and so many yellows! I needed more of those out there.
