I am looking to possibly hold a combined co-op of several plants and bulbs to possibly include Strawberries, asparagus, raspberries. blueberries. gladiolus, lilies, clematis, Lilly of the Vally(convallaria),dahlias, bleeding hearts, named and variegated plumeria and mabe more. I am looking at this list and to see if there is any interest if so i will start listing different types available and prices most should be able to pack together to save shipping. some have low min quantity and some i am prepared to buy quite a few plants to allow us to get the lowest prices. it might be way early for these but looking to spark interest and be ready get in before sold out. Will not use heat packs they cost to much so shipping to cold states will be held or delayed till safe shipping is available.

this co-op might have 2-3 different order and ship dates will see where the interest is.

looking for feedback and suggestions looks like some really great prices. As always i ship priority mail and like to make sure the cheapest if that means flat rate or not. No co-op fee or boxing fee!!!

SO SPEAK UP AND LETS DISCUSS ANOTHER GREAT CO-OP!!!

THANKS AND CANT WAIT TO SEE WHO WOULD LIKE SOME GREAT DEALS AND A LOT OF FUN!!!

MIKE

Strawberries, asparagus, raspberries. blueberries. gladiolus, lilies, clematis for me. It would be great if we could get Goji Berry too. Roses would be a good one, I like fragrant, shrub and minis. I lost 5 roses in the move so I'm going to be looking for more.

I don't think there is a popular variety yet on the Goji, but a couple of good strawberries are Everbearing and June Bearing, Asaragus - Mary Washington and Jersey Supreme or Knight, Supreme is an earlier type. I have both and want more. They should be at least 2 to 3 year old roots. My preference is 3 yr old. They will produce usually the first year if planted early enough. Otherwise with the 2 year old you might have to wait 1 to 2 years to get anything. Don't know to much about raspberries and blueberries.

any colorful glads, I really want a Sweet Autumn Clematis. I don't really care what the name of the lilies are, I don't remember half of what I do have. I did see one that really appealed to me and that was Wild Horses.

"The Goji belt produces four grades of Goji berries: super, king, special and Grade A. The largest berries are “super,” second largest are “king,” etc. You might find marketers advertising their berries as the biggest, but they’re still all the same berry, Lycium barbarum. They’re that unless, of course, they’re Lycium chinensis."

It's good to have a mix of at at least two kinds of Goji berry plants for pollination from what I understand. Other useful ilnfo...

I'd be very interested in these clematis: Multi Blue, Kakio, Dr. Ruppel. Mostly looking for a double blue and pink mixes. Prices look good to me! And at these prices, I may very well want a few of the lilies and dahlias. I grew a dahlia from seed one year that I dearly loved, but lost it over the winter. If there's a similar one available, I'd definitely want! Here's a picture, it's really more of a sort of salmon color, not orange:

Looking good Mike, I'm good for at least 10 of each of the Asparagus and 10 of each of the Strawberries. probably 3 red raspberry and maybe a couple blueberry. I'll go along with whatever you find on the rest.

If I remember right there was something about not planting a black raspberry close to the red ones. I'll see if I can find what it was.

I couldn't find the reason why but the NC extension center has this to say.

Besides taking care to select only raspberry varieties which have been successful in your area, be sure to buy plants from a reputable nursery. Tissue cultured plants are preferred because they are certified virus free and should be free of Verticillium wilt and crown gall. Dormant canes are not recommended because experience has shown that they are often disease infected. Be cautious about accepting plants from a neighbor's garden. All raspberries are self-fertile and may be planted alone. Plants of red and black raspberries should be separated by 700 ft.
