You Croton will prefer a brightly lit location (western or southern window) in the home. Keep soil evenly moist but not to wet as this will cause leaf edges to turn brown. Crotons also like 40-80% humidity as a house plant. Misting daily will help with overall health of your plant. Keep a close watch for spider mites on the leaf undersides. Spider mites are a common occurrence for indoor Crotons and can also cause leaf drop. Placing your Croton in the shower once a week, showering the leaf undersides with water can help control spider mites.
