Thread OP

This is the first time I'm posting, hoping to get some help with flowers I'm having trouble identifying.

This was found in southern Vermont. I didn't note how large the flowers were, but does it look familiar to anybody?

Milkweed can be so beautiful and interesting especially when the little parachutes help complete the weeds cycle as they drift away on any given day. It is what the Monarch Butterfly relies on as part of its life cycle
