i was told by dg admen that i could not hold a co-op because i would not get a different vender. then i said i was hosting my co-op on ATP.COM and they banned me from there site. because i was promoting my site....dave got a great at that one.....so chefmike is officially band from daves garden for live they can kiss my .......

I haven't placed an order yet either, but will be. Don't know what all the family will be ordering for sure, but I know we will be wanting several different clematis, and I'm sure some lilies too. Not sure about the dahlias, but wouldn't be surprised if we would be ordering some of those too. There are about 4-5 of us that will be going over all the varieties and choices over the weekend deciding what all to order, so hard telling what we will come up with. The only reason I'm saying this is so those of you that are thinking about cancelling parts of your orders might want to keep that in mind, in case we would want some of the same things and put those items close to the amounts needed

I want dahlias .... waaaaahhhh ... I'm such a cry-baby. I want Dinnerplates -- Peaches n Cream and would take purple Dinnerplates of some kind.

I have loads of purple flowers in 6 different beds, I know I will get more but I'm trying to add different colors too. I didn't know that about M. Showers, Maybe I might order it since I live so close to Warsaw, MO.

ok i had a migrain and cancelled my plans for the day. so im doing co-op maintenance and if you have never run a co-op there is just a bit of things to do. i also have 3 others asking for plants that im not carrying how is this none of these plants will come to me this week but i have 35 plants on there way and last week with the goji berries i had 65 delivered and transplanted 50 adenium seedlings and planted 100 seeds. this week another 100 seeds are on there way and 70 bulbs from the other co-op are on there way have i made you dizzy yet?? you should see my plant room and my porch. by my front door i have a box with 65 3 gal pots grafting tape and a grafting tool. a box with rooting hormone and a box with 40 hour warmers waiting on the 72 hours still.... no wounder i cant sleep at night and wake with migraines


Sandi thanks for getting your family involved this is one reason i only highlighted the ones that we MIGHT have to cut ill wait a bit longer to do the cutting.

i dont know if i have the Jersey Knight i have gotten 2 yo roots from a few different places and i cant get more i have them here now so i will try not to trip on all my plants and count them to see if i can do those for you.

I HAVE TO SAY THIS....OUT OF ALL THE THINGS I WANTED FROM THIS CO-OP ACCORDING TO MY GARDENING BOOK I CANT GROW ANYTHING BUT STRAWBERRIES AND THOSE ARE BEST IF I JUST DRIVE 45 MIN SOUTH TO PLANT CITY AND GET THEM THERE OR AT THE STORE CAN YOU BELIEVE THIS. ITS TOO WARM FOR SOME AND TOO COLD FOR SOME HHEEEY I LIVE IN FLORIDA I SHOULD BE ABLE TO GROW WHAT I WANT!!!!
WE WHERE GOING TO PLANT ABOUT 50-75 MORE ASPARAGUS BUT I HAVE BEEN TOLD NOW IT ONLY LAST 1-2 YEARS HERE IM FROM UP NORTH I GREW IT AND SOLD IT ONE YEAR WE PICKED 700 LBS OF IT!!!! AND WE THREW AWAY ALL THE SMALL TINY PENCIL ASPARAGUS.

OK I HAD TO GET THAT OUT LOOKS LIKE I MIGHT PLANT THINGS THAT ARE GOING TO DIE IN A FEW YEARS. ITS OK I PLANTED GARDEN 3 DIFFERENT YEARS AND NEVER GOT SH**T FROM IT I DIDNT KNOW THAT TOMATOES DONT LIKE IT WHEN ITS 85 AT NIGHT AND THAT THE 18 ROSE BUSHES I SPENT HRS MAKING A PERFECT BED FOR AND MULCHING AND AFTER SPRAYING THEM ALL THE TIME FOR BLACK SPOT MY IRRIGATION ROTTED DUE TO THE 110 DEG IN SUMMER I GAVE UP.
