Wow, you communicated a lot of helpful information in a succinct fashion. Thank You!
One of the most frustrating things in my swap is when swappers only use the scientific name of their plant without the common name and don't add a photo. I am unable to copy and paste while in the trade list on my devices. When there are a lot of offers and when you want to know what they are talking about, it makes you feel excluded. Oh yes, I have copied down the scientific names and looked them up later, but when there are so many it just takes away the fun. Sad
How do you handle that in your swap?

Thank you, Samlav! The difficulties in understanding scientific names (or alternative names) for items isn't easily overcome except by pictures. Unfortunately, there is no trick to it, you just do what you are doing (look them up in the database). There *might* be cell phone apps out there designed to find and identify plant names, but I have never looked and I suspect it is unlikely such an app exists just yet.

Encouraging users to submit photos is the best way to accomplish what your are looking for, I think. Also, Dave has set the swaps up to generate a photo automatically (pulling from the database) any time you there is an entry with a link, which lends even greater importance for people to link their seed entries.

I am sorry I don't have an easy solution for you, but I hope it helps in some way! Thumbs up
