I got my copy of the "Modern Daylily Catalog" in the morning mail and it's WONDERFUL!!! I'm not positive about this but I think Cary Peterson put this catalog out and he's to be commended for all the hard work. He did an excellant job!!

I wonder how you get on his mailing list so that you can get one??

When I saw the announcement for the catalog last Fall, I sent Cory a request to be added to the mailing list. I don't know if it's too late or not??? I also understood that if you have bought from any of the advertisers in the catalog that they were furnishing a list to Cary.

I just went to the other site "Mydaylilies.com" and confirmed that Cary did publish the catalog. So, you can go there and ask Cary about this year's catalog. Hope this helps, Mona

I got mine a cple days ago. I requested to be put on the list awhile back.

I get emails from mydaylilies.com and I also voted on their seedling contest recently.

I think Cary told me there were 6000 mailed out, I do know if you are a member of AHS you should automatically get one. I recieved a hundred to pass out at club meetings to the ones who are not AHS members or on the mailing list. Glad to hear they are finally being recieved.

Hmm. I have never received one, and I have been an AHS member at least 20 years...

I didn't get one last year or this year. I think if you are a member of Cary's site and have your address info listed you may get one (mine wasn't). But other than that I'm not sure how you get one.

I emailed Cary this morning to see who was suppose to recieve the catalog. Will post when I here something.

Our copy arrived today after I looked at the catalog online last night. Still, it is always good to have the paper copy right in front of you.

I loved it and looked at it cover to cover. One thing I was surprised at though was how many did not have the parentage mentioned. I love to know and see what is brought to the table from what. Just my nature.

I have received the catalog both this year and last. I am a member of the My Daylilies site so I assume that has something to do with it. I really enjoyed seeing the intros of some lesser known hybridizers as well as some of the 'big guys'. I saw it online earlier when it was mentioned on the daylily email robin. I was really hooked by one of Barrie Matthie's intros and after much thinking about it (lots of money to spend on a daylily!) actually purchased my first ever new intro! BONIBRAE COTTON CANDY SWIRLS. I'm really excited to use it in my hybridizing!
