I love the term "plottery" AND the idea that the phrase is "open-pollinated!"
I saved some seeds off some red Black Velvet geraniums (ok, ok, pelargoniums) and grew some out this year. Some of them looked just like the original, but a couple have the same dark-centered leaves, but pink flowers! I love 'em!
