In the database Q. xbeadlei is listed as a synonym for Q. xsaullii. Xsaullii is Q. alba x montana (prinus) whereas Q. xbeadlei is Q. alba x michauxii. I uploaded 2 photos and they are listed under common name Beadle oak, botanical name Q. xsaullii.
Does this matter? Or should a correction be made?

You are correct, they are different plants. Give me a couple of minutes and it will get fixed.

Thanks, Kent. I'm a stickler about my oaks. Big Grin
Though I don't claim I'm always right. Neither are the experts I suspect.

Yep. Oaks, at least the ones from eastern North America, are a bewildering group to say the least. Thumbs up
