So anyway, I think the most outstanding of all your pictures, James, is the flying bottle. How'd you do that? I could throw out some guesses but I'd rather just know.

Julia, wow! I love those trees and their root systems! I haven't been over to the peninsula yet hopefully going in Spring!

tx_flower_child, The bottle actually has a loop that holds the lid on. I held the bottle by that loop and 'erased' my hand and the loop with an app on my phone. Here's a photo of the bottle just sitting on the ground at that same sunset.

It was gorgeous over there. Haven't been there for ages. Worth a trip.

I thought it was a ball or balloon at first glance. Color really stood out in shady area beside road. DH says it was at least 16" to 18". First time to ever see one of those.

like the detail on this Osage Orange, looks sorta of like green brains.

Not only green brains, but could be one of those nasty permanent waves that my Aunt Evil Spirits used to torture me with every summer. Not green but might as well have been. Also, looks like an ear lobe on the left side.

If you hadn't said, 'spider color matches petal' I wouldn't have caught that.

Both are great pictures.

No, I don't get out of my car to photograph wild animals. Mr. Bear was one car ahead of ours.

Has anyone upgraded to the iPhone X and if so, do you think the camera is much improved? I'm considering trading in my iPhone 8 if the camera is much better.

Here's a photo I took a few days ago of a spider's web using my iPhone 8 and cropped in iPhoto.

No but I'd like to know. I have an iPhone 7 that I bought in July because my other phone somehow broke.

I thought the 8 has the extra features but maybe it's the 8 Plus.

Great picture!

My daughter just got a new phone and the pictures are so much better. She sends me pictures of my grandson everyday. The quality is so much better. Wish I could buy a new one, maybe next year. She had a really old phone, like a iPhone 5 so a big jump.
