I have been busy today cleaning up pots, and repotting plants in to bigger pots, etc...today, so got a lot done.
I promised you folks a picture of this a long time ago, when I put up the pictures of the Boyce Thompson Arboretum, but am just now getting around to getting it repotted into a bigger pot. So, here is the picture of my Fouquieria columnaris Tree (Boojum Tree). I have had this plant for gosh...10 years now. It does not grow very fast at all. This pot is really to big for it, but I won't have to re-transplant it for awhile...lol! It's in a pot out in one of my rose beds that I'm in the process of pruning back for the summer. When I first bought this plant it was in a 4 inch pot. The Boojum can take up to 20 years just to reach one foot tall and another 15 to 20 years to reach 10 feet.
