Thread OP

Hey everyone, I just joined this site and am looking for help. I am looking to get my dad some seeds for his birthday and Christmas (which are only separated by 4 days). He is an incredible gardener, and does like to grow heirlooms among other things. He frequently tries to get different varieties of seeeds as he hates limited selection at local stores here. He seems the most happy when he tells me about this new variety of lettuce, or tomato seeds that he gets, for example. I am into gardening as well thanks to him, however I am quite a novice, so need some experienced guidance. Can anyone point me in a direction of where to get seeds that an experienced gardener would be excited about? I put this in the heirloom category, however I think seeds of any variety would be a great gift. He lives in North Florida if that helps. Thanks for any help given!

Iknow this thread was from a while ago but if you are still looking I can point you in the direction of someof my heirloom trade groups. WE have some of the rarest of tomato varieties from all over the world.
