What can I say other than I love all of them!!!

Change of Heart is great, it bloomed all summer, even though it was new last spring . It also has extremely fertile pollen, I set pods on loads of stuff with it. I set one pod on it just to see if it was pod fertile too. I wanted to set more but I was afraid I would set it back so I restrained myself. This year I want to use a few of my toothy seedlings on it to see if I can get that watermark and depth of color on my toothy babies. Wouldn't that be awesome?

Ohhh, that Change of Heart is so pretty!

I went through all of my photos, and only have a couple with watermarks. Granted, I have loads of DL that have never bloomed yet (hopefully this year, right?)

Poor FFO of Grateful Heart (OK, it was new a couple weeks prior to this, and I should have not allowed it to bloom....then the weather happened, then I happened....)

I reallly like Change of Heart, too. It's so pretty. I also like the statement that it's very pollen fertile. Did the pod set and grow out good?? I'm always needing another red to all to my collection. Especally one that looks like this one.

I love Charles Johnston also. I've had it for nearly 13 years and it will always have a home here. I have a couple of seedlings from it that I just love. They aren't fancy, but they are very pretty to me. Let's see if I can find a photo to upload. I'll go see and be back.

The pod did set and I got some seed from it, can't remember how many though. I was very pleased with it. Keep an eye out for it on the LA, it comes up for auction every now and then.

I had to transplant Charles Johnston last summer, it was behind a taller daylily. It had problems with being transplanted, hopefully it survived the winter. It truly is one of my favorite reds.

Thanks Mona! I was so very impressed with CJ last year, first year bloom. It was a wonderful surprise at how beautiful the flowers were. It just needed moved, because I had to go behind a large heirloom daylily clump to see it. I am crossing my fingers that it is happy under the snowcover, but will let you know. Thanks again ~Jan

Thanks so much for including those beauties, Celeste and Ann! And I totally agree on PLEASE SAY YES -- I'll have to check that one out myself! I think the watermark daylilies are absolutely gorgeous, among the most striking of all daylilies! And there are so many beauties pictured here!

Boy, my Mac sure is fighting me on the word "daylilies". Every time I type the word in a new post it automatically separates it into two words, so I have to go back and delete the space. Does anyone else have this problem, or is it just me?
