That's an interesting observation, Evan and Bob, and a comment on changing styles. When I started gardening, there was only one Heuchera widely available in commerce and we all bought six-packs of Coral Bells every year for the front of our borders. We grew them only for the blooms because the foliage was "insignificant." Some of those tiny plants are still thriving in my garden after 30 years, whereas the new fancy-foliaged ones generally melt away after a while.
