I found this beautiful Mariposa lily growing at Mesa Verde National Park, CO. I also saw them growing on the North Rim of the Grand Canyon, however, can't seem to find the proper genus. Wanted to add this picture to the Plant Files, but don't know where to put it.

Calochortus is the genus. It's most likely Calochortus gunnisonii, but there are quite a few species in the intermountain West.
