Tim - I think Mid America import some Rainbow Ridge bearded irises. There are photos of Leinster Ellen Jean in the NGA database taken at Mid America and I've seen photos of Thomas Johnson and Kirk Hansen at Rainbow Ridge nursery on social media. I don't know if anyone imports Rainbow Ridge's Californian irises. The one I purchased appears to be unregistered.

I would love to know what is required to send an iris to USA. If all that is required is a phytosanitary certificate maybe we can figure out a way to get Rainbow Ridge irises to you.

There are some beautiful introductions at Rainbow Ridge but I find it hard to know what they will look like in natural light as the images in the catalog look very bright. I try to wait for other people to post photos first but sometimes I can't wait. My Tasha was one I had to have last year and I absolutely love it .

Daphne - I am going to plant it in a pot for the first year. If it looks unhappy, I will move it around the garden until I figure out what conditions it prefers.

I'll see about what is legally required on my end too. Would soo love to have some of Piateks, Grosvenor, and Taylor and other foreign hybridized irises show up here in the USA. My pockets aren't as deep as others, but I'd sacrifice to grow and enjoy some of the beauties from the above hybridizers

I ended up placing an order thru Sutton.   The order is 2018 tall bearded starter pack. Then i also ordered cantina , deep dark space, fragrant  breeze, Judy Nunn, Saturday night live, and summer rain.

Since the order qualified for a bonus, which. They said we can choose from the 2018 intros I choose pumpkin spice.

I emailed Joni and she sent me her catalog. I ended up ordering more from her than all my other orders combined! Well, maybe not all, but certainly more than I have iris beds dug! I can only do so much in the early morning hours, and then not always every day.

I will be happy to see cooler weather as I am cowering in the A/C cooled house, on hold with the USPS. I am trying to get a refund for a Click-N-Ship that never got printed. Then I have to wait a very long time on hold to try and resolve my printer issues. I have been avoiding these tasks for days now!

I ordered 24 from her; that's a big order for me, especially from a vendor I haven't used before. The prices were really good though!

Most of my orders were smallish. I didn't want to leave any favorite vendors out! I'm starting to know what I really like. Of course that kinda hurts in the cost of shipping dept.
I still managed to leave a few out, but it couldn't be helped. I've
gotten twice as many as my mental calculator was telling me, but I'm looking forward to all the beauty in 2019!
