Bokashi for the Garden

Bokashi is a Japanese word literally translated as shading off. It has come to denote the process of anaerobic fermentation of organic waste that produces what is known as beneficial and effective microorganisms. The resulting organic material might be likened to probiotics for the soil.

Thumbs up It isn't ... just takes a bit of organization and planning to get the routine going in a manageable and coordinated way, in my humble opinion. I tend to favor this in the warmer months and my regular composter through the winter simply because of needing to dig bokashi into ground that isn't frozen.
