Thanks, Alex, we have had a bit of snow - then it melted and was milder - now it's back to a crust of snow and freezing weather.
On Nov. 1, 2017, there was a clear sky and a beautiful sunset, so I snapped some shots.
Looking east at 4:57 pm.
And south.
The next morning at 8:32 am - just a skiff of snow: From back of house - to the east, and then to the west.
A few days later, after a few more light snowfalls, WildTurkey tracks, like hieroglyphics, surrounded the house.
Most of that snow melted. And a few days later, I came upon two of the culprits - out of a herd of 7 or 8 who frequent our backyards.
I hibernated for almost all of November with a bad cold - so no more photos.
But one more thing - a few nights ago, after midnight, I heard a sound at my living room window - Wasn't sure if it was the bear or the elk - so I stepped out cautiously, then emitted a loud shout and clapped my hands at a herd of 6 or 7 Elk - who immediately thundered away.
Yes, there's lots to entertain us, in this sedate Senior's Grandview Housing Complex.
