I am so happy you seem to like Alphabet Soup! I hope you will enjoy the letter B. In Snow Mexico, we like to dream all winter of what we can grow next season, so the ingredients get picked over and people seem often to go back to threads to look for things they have seen. I am NOT a Soup Nazi, but I would like to suggest that you try to post pix of plants where the leading letter B is not too obscure and down the line in the latin or common name at the very end. Unless you are desperate, lol. But then who is not interested in what they did to genus Aster and how we have all suffered? So my kick off in the B's are as follows... post away, have fun.

Begonia Rex "Escargo"

this is a dumb picture of a rock Hilarious!

no, really, it is supposed to be showing the color echos of Bergenia winter leaves with that rock that made for a neato winter interest shot one day long ago...

I'm feeling so crappy with this nasty cold that's been beating me down and this crazy draining work schedule I can't keep up with that I just haven't bothered with the winter interest campaign going on now...

I'll see if I can find a few more B's now that the alphabet soup is moving on--glad I checked this morning, I would have missed it otherwise

Gorgeous photo of blue-eyed grass Char!

Thanks dirtdorphins: hope you feel better soon, love your post, it's cute, plantmanager, thank you, jmorth , Csandt, those baptisa specimens are lovely, I only have the one...thank you Hemnorth for those Bs lol...the only reason we tried to be careful about making sure b's were b's and h's were h's was because people would often want to find a plant they had seen in the Soup, and it was so handy to have them alphabetically ordered. But if obscure ingredients were filed in odd places, the Dewey decimal system of the Soup kind of falls apart. But if you are desperate, of course first rule is no rules.

....oops; they're meant to be photos from our own gardens? Sorry, I hadn't realized ...
