It looks familiar to me and I first thought Senecio jacobaea, but then came back on that. Maybe someone recognize it so it can be moved to the right entry?

I've been looking Myriam, the plant which it most resembles in Common Ragwort! The leaves differ slightly but I can't find anything else, I think they vary from the basal leaves to those produced up the stem but it still doesn't seem to fit.

Thanks Janet! I agree Common Ragwort or Senecio jacobaea is the closest so far.
Not sure now what to do as I am also not entirely sure..
maybe move it to the bin of unidentified pictures?

That has to be the only option Myriam unless someone else can come up with a name. You could first try contacting the owner of the photo to see if they have any better idea, it is possible it's a mistake and they do know what it is.

Sorry for the late reply, thanks Janet, yes I'd better contact the owner of the picture!
