....oops I seem to have lost the declined response from you Joshua. Read it and hopped over to the database, and ....gone.

Is this possibly where I fill in the detail Albery's Red cultivar?

Hi Carole,

Sorry, but no. If you want to add a cultivar of an existing species (like I think you were trying to do), then what you can do is find the species entry in the database, scroll to the bottom of the page and click "Add another plant using this one as a template". Then fill in the cultivar field.

I've just found this entry, though, which is what I think you wanted:
Christmas Bush (Ceratopetalum gummiferum 'Albury's Red')

Hope that helps!

thanks Joshua, well I'd not managed to pick up that there was already the Albury's Red added. Must've been too hasty looking down the list of options and came across the Ceratopetalum gummiferum.

Knowing you've already mentioned about "Add another plant using this one as a template"; given that I'd already added my photos to the Ceratopetalum gummiferum page, do I now "merge this plant entry" to the Ceratopetalum gummiferum Albury's Red) page?

Hoping you're not pulling your hair out. Confused Anyone out there to pick Joshua up off the floor?

No need to merge entries. In this case your photos need to be moved to the 'Albury's Red' entry. To do this, go to the photo page, scroll to the bottom and select "Move Photo". You can then search for the correct entry and propose that the photo will be moved.

It's late in my time zone and I'm about to sleep, but one of the other admins should be able to handle your proposal (if not, I can look at it again tomorrow).

Please let me know if you need any help or have any questions and I'll do my best to be of assistance.

Thanks Joshua; we're in the same time zone; I'll try to fix this before logging out. Appreciate your help.
