I was one of the first 300 contributors to the plant database! Region: Pacific Northwest Region: California
note the wilted long gone leaves on the ground,
when they went down these small plants shot up and bloomed
i have never seen this before but will keep watch to see if they can survive the winter
if they can survive they are a new hardy spotty dotty Smiling

They seem to be pretty hardy, my neighbor (z4b) has one and it's spreading, going on 3 years in the ground

i have had this plant 15 years and this is the first time i have seen it sprout in the winter
