Have you created an arrangement of Christmas greens from your garden? If so, we would love to see it! If not, perhaps this thread will inspire you to take a tour of your garden and put something lovely together for the Christmas season from the greens you find there. Wreaths created from what you glean from your garden are welcome too. Please post your photos here!

To get this thread started, here is my arrangement. Except for the metallic-fold colored ornaments and white-sprayed pine cones, everything is from my garden (juniper, two cultivars of Aucuba japonica, Lavender Grosso, holly, and Pieris japonica). It looked kind of dull and dark, even with the gold ornaments, until I added the lavender, which added a much-needed light touch.

It was such fun gathering the greens and arranging them!

Hi Carol, I love your arrangement.

You've inspired me to go out and see what I can make. It will include some rosemary that's growing out front. It should make the house smell piney since we don't have any pine trees growing here.

Thank You!

I did this one for a client.

Your arrangements are so pretty, Julia @springcolor,

You have an artist's eye for the contrasts of color and form that make an arrangement work well! Like the dramatic vertical accents in gold (first arrangement) and red (third). And the pink flowers nested in the midst of the second arrangment contrast so beautifully with the blue and green foliage.

Thanks for sharing these images! Smiling

Well said, Carol! Julia's planting's are beautiful! Thumbs up I saw the cyclamen one Saturday - a combo I'd never have thought of.
