Check the SDS pages I pasted, identical.

Price is probably the reason Syngenta does not want non-farmers using DX, it would cost them millions.
This is for a GALLON.

wow!
Well for the Fusilade II, I think it makes 50 gallons when mixed and is 75 a bottle, so that is way way cheaper in the long run than buying to pre-mix ones like at Lowes. Which is what I am going to just start out w trying as experiment. I will buy the pricier one when I'm ready.

I can't wait to see how this goes for me, I also ordered some stuff to spray specifically on nuthedge. I have gotten quite a bit of that and tried pulling and digging, and used round up to no avail. Can't wait to get rid of that too!
I am laying concrete pavers this year to make paths, that will cut down on lots of the weeds. If I can get rid of these horrible weeds, I hope to start working on adding compost into my soil a patch at a time. My soil here is heavy/clay like. It is hard to work in. I think the plants don't mind it though mostly.

Never , never, pull Nutsedge, that is the same as roto-tilling quackgrass, you will have five where before there was one.
Make sure you get a dedicated nutsedge killer. I have been fighting it for over five years, closer to ten.
Put the killer down even when you think it is gone, in the area it is thickest, for at least one year.
I had my yard and garden cleared of it, then sixteen months later a little popped up and I had no more killer. For what ever asinine reason up here it is hard to impossible to get without mail order.
So I mail ordered some more and by the next summer is was all over the place, even in areas it was not before.
One reason, sod we bought was full of it and laid it on an area that already had it. This was before I knew exactly what it was and that you should never pull it. You will not know that till the year after you lay that sod.
I put some same sod down home and suddenly I had a nutsedge problem there where it NEVER existed before.

Frilly, I don't think that will work on quack grass, check out your label and google it to make sure. I don't know how the subject changed to nutsedge unless you have that also, the label on what you posted says nutsedge.

Oh, no I just bought this for the nutsedge, I bought the other for the quack grass, I have a horrible problem with both weeds! Plus my entire lawn is Bermuda grass. I would just like to strangle whoever's dumb idea that was. I have a lot of really invasive stuff going on. Sad

Frillylily: "Round up does not phase this stuff".

Have you tried upping the amount of concentration per gallon? I haven't come across anything that glyphosate won't kill.
I used to use about a 1.5% solution. I now routinely use about a 6-7% solution. More expensive but now I know anything I spray it on will be killed including things like vinca, honeysuckle and other things a 1.5 % won't kill.

it just kills the tops off but it grows right back. The problem I am having is that this weed is intertwined with all my plants. I can't keep digging out the plants to spray. Roundup will kill my plants. Looks like the grass b gone stuff will kill the weed w/o harming my plants. Going to test some spots to see. The grass b gone is pricey, but I will order the concentrated stuff later on if I like it.

Another way I use is to spray pure concentrate right on the stem. You can use a piece of stiff cardbord to shield your desirable plants from the spray.
Two things I always carry in my pockets when outdoors in the garden are a pair of pruners and a small spray bottle of gly concentrate. I use it on all kinds of undesirable plants such as Hackberry, Virginia Creeper, perennial morning glory type weeds, Dandelion crowns, etc. The list is practically endless where I live.
You can find the little spray bottle at Walmart in the personal hygiene area.

I had a section of my flowerbed with that stuff, and I did 3 things. First I dug up all the flowers and put them in pots. Everytine any thing grew there that wasn't the flower, I pulled it out quickly. Second, I loosened all the soil in the bed with my leverage fork. Great tool! You can rid of quackgrass and other spreading weeds by pulling the roots out carefully. 3rd, I planted tomatoes there and covered the soil with red plastic. When "Those Damn Weeds" made it to the openings for the tomatoes, I kept pulling them. The plastic did the rest.

It took 2 years, but they are gone.

I just bought it at Lowes and some also at Home Depot, and it worked great, I sprayed it directly on iris, daylilies and even other plants with no harm to them. I am so happy to have found out about this!

Thanks Frilly, so glad it helped you! Folks we are talking about Fusilade II thought I would put the product name here once again so you wouldn't have to read thru all the previous posts.

I use Ornamec. Same active ingredient as Fusilade but a little more expensive. I plan to switch after I use what I have.
It's good for crabgrass and bermuda also.

@Frillylily: I am confused. What did you use to kill the Bermuda grass. Did you use ORTHO 32-Fl Oz Concentrate Nutsedge Killer?
Please explain what you did exactly to kill the nutsedge, Bermuda grass, also the bindweeds? Or did you use Fuselade? Or is it the little spray bottle?
Thank you for your help. I have all those grasses, you name it, I have it, plus the bindweeds and 5-leaf like wild strawberries---I have been fighting time, Roundup did not work----

I used the Fuselade for the bermuda and the crab grass and it killed them. I used a different spray specifically for nutsedge for that. I still have these things, but they are more controlled now, hoping to finish them off this year.

Thank you Frillylily. I will use Fuselade this coming Spring! Hopefully at least my Bermuda grass and the other grasses will be gone.
After I read about Nutsedge, I will also buy the Ortho one. No wonder the pulling them did not help. And I thought that it was easy to pull them. Did you mix them according to the formula on the container or did you use them stronger or did you use them concentrated without adding any water at all? Thank you so much for answering my questions.

Don't go too strong, I did last summer in some areas and it killed more than just the Nutgrass when we had the only dry spell of the summer.
