Dick, you don't check in very often, so these will most likely be tall and flowering by the time that you do....lol..

I see that this one is getting ready to bloom also...it's the unknown seedling that I brought up with me from SoCal and turned out to be pink flowered....the only pink that I ever had was Echium Mr. Happy and I'm sue that I kept seeds from it last year and year before, so may be the one out in front will turn out to be Mr. Happy.....

This is the one in front again...I will be able to watch its progress through the front window....lol...

Sweet little violet...the plant itself is all of about 1 1/2 inches wide....



They reseed all over...I'm okay with that.....

Syneilesis-palmata-'Kikko' only about 6" now will get a cpl feet taller

Huh...I don'r know what that is, will need to go look it up...

Saw a few...think the only one that I noticed that was variegated as yours is, was, as you said, Kikko...think it was Broken Arrow Nursery that wanted $50 for it ! I glanced at several listings, think one said white flowers...do you know if yours will have white flowers?...if so, wonder if they will be scented....

See that our outlook for the next 10 days is clear, dry, warmer, up to 68 Saturday...I'm dancing here...lol.

Neighbor Karen just came over, hers has grown faster than mine and she said she thought they were going to be pink...so we went to take a look...

One has OPENED...and son of a gun, it's pink........of all the seeds I have..THESE are the one that I sowed and that have come along first?...when I don't like the PINK?

So, these then are from a self sown volunteer of echium Mr. Happy, from my Fallbrook garden...came up with me as about a 4" seedling in a small pot 4 years ago...which is now in a 15 gallon pot and HUGE.....in the back...I will wait until it has seeds and then yank it, as I will also with these several in front...
Karen is thrilled....likes pink...lol

Hmmm...maybe I will be able to live with this pink echium where it is...we shall see...the good news for me is that one of the ones in front has turned out to be blue /purple..perhaps the other two will be also...though still awkward palcement for Tower of Jewels when I was thinking Viper's Bugloss echium...
