I haven't gotten even one catalog.
Maybe after Christmas.

On another note....
Have you noticed all the glitter - on everything - this Christmas. Even on the outdoor decor. If I hung glittery stuff outside, I know I'd come unglued if I found it all over the garden come spring.
This fresh bouquet I saw yesterday was the 'icing on the cake' :

I used to work part time for the PO after I retired from teaching.....it was an adventure! I really haven't noticed the glitter.....hate the stuff......you can never totally get rid of it.

Saw this in another forum today and thought I would share it here. Someone changed the word "books" for "plants".

What do you folks think the best slicing tomato to grow? Each year, I grow a variety of tomatoes...San Marzano for sauce, cherry tomatoes, and few slicing tomatoes. I usually plant way to many plants, and we are overwhelmed with tomatoes...more than we can give away. This year, I think I am going to cut back and just plant a reliable, disease resistant, good tasting slicing tomato, but I'm not sure which one, or maybe two, to go with. What is your favorite?

Jim - this is a question for @newyorkrita - our resident tomato expert. I'm interested, too, since I was not happy with the quality of my slicing tomato choices last season.

Last year I planted 4th of July because they mature early, but I wasn't wild about them. Also, I had some Campari's. They are larger than cherries but smaller than the traditional small sized slicing tomato. They are quite tasty, but I want something a little larger. I looked at New Girl on Johnny's (not to be confused with Early Girl). They look like a possibility. https://www.johnnyseeds.com/ve...

I have been extremely pleased with the seeds I buy from Johnny's as far as germination rates. Here is the link to their tomato seeds page: https://www.johnnyseeds.com/ve...

I've always liked the flavor of Ramapo...nice size for slicing, too....love Cherokee purples but never get too many on the plants.
