This plant is almost certainly K. luciae... also the plant pictured below. K. luciae is very commonly mislabeled as thyrsiflora, and the latter is actually quite rare in cultivation.

I mentioned in the caption that it is probably mislabeled and that the flowers would confirm. Propose the move if you'd like to. P. S. It's from Moran Nursery in Watsonville Ca. Large commercial grower. Just looked at their plant list and they have only K. thrysiflora listed. So all of their's are mislabeled. Unsurprising mistake.

I just cut the flower stalk on this and sectioned the leaves with a bit of stem to callous. No idea if they will root or not - but nothing ventured, nothing gained.

@Lin - if the cuttings root, I'll add the photo to the database. However, I'm reluctant to tell folks they can cut off a blooming stalk for propagation if it doesn't work. I'm very curious to see if this method is successful. I'll post updates.
